For Blue Ant Media’s Mysteries from Above, we were there on the ground as their fixer team in Spain, helping the production discover the stories, people and locations behind an episode dedicated to the mysteries of Galicia.
Our work started long before the cameras arrived.
Working alongside the Blue Ant Media production team, we helped research potential stories and subjects, identify interesting local angles and connect the production with people who could provide the knowledge and perspective they were looking for.
From there, we took care of the practical side of bringing those stories to life.
Finding the right stories in Galicia
Galicia is a fascinating region for documentary production. Its dramatic coastline, historic towns, ancient traditions and stories passed down through generations make it a natural fit for a programme like Mysteries from Above.
Our role as a fixer in Galicia was to help the production navigate that local landscape — finding relevant subjects, making introductions and helping turn an initial idea into something that could actually be filmed.
We supported the team with local research, interviewees, experts and story development, making sure the international production had the right contacts and information before arriving on location.

Once the stories were established, we continued supporting the production on the ground.
This included location research and management, arranging and coordinating interviews, managing local contacts and helping with access and logistics throughout the shoot.
